Markie v0.4.1

What changed

This is an important reliability fix. On earlier builds, when Markie detected an update on its own, clicking Install & Restart could silently do nothing. That's fixed — auto-update now installs and relaunches correctly.

Updating from 0.3.x or 0.4.0? Please read

Because the bug lives in the older build you're updating from, you may need to update once by hand to reach 0.4.1:

In the app (no download):

  1. Open Settings and turn off Check for updates
  2. Quit Markie completely, then reopen it
  3. Settings → Check for Updates → Install & Restart

Or download manually: grab the latest from getmarkie.app/download and drag it into your Applications folder, replacing the old app.

Once you're on 0.4.1, auto-update works normally and you won't need to do this again.
