Search Your Personal Asset Library from Claude, via MCP
An MCP server built into Markie
Markie ships with a built-in MCP server. Connect it to an AI assistant such as Claude/ ChatGPT, and the assistant can search and retrieve your saved images, videos, PDFs, and SVGs in natural language.
One library, saved your way
Everything the assistant reaches was saved by you: with one click from the Chrome extension while browsing, or through the macOS desktop app, where the same assets sit in a gallery view or on an infinite canvas for spatial exploration.
Files on your machine
The library is stored as plain files in a folder you choose. Point that folder at iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or Google Drive, and it stays local-first: no cloud, no account required to use it. The MCP server reads straight from that folder.
Built for developers too
Alongside the MCP server, Markie has a developer SDK, @vitgranen/markie-sdk, for building your own frontend on the same library. Run the MCP server with npx -y @vitgranen/markie-mcp.
